As our facility is expanding we are looking to fill the following positions:
Pet Supply Store Coordinator/Assistant
We are looking to fill a retail/buyer position at Play Dog Play located on Pine Street in Burlington. This position could be part or full time depending on the candidate.
Person in this position will be in charge of ordering for the store, keeping track of the inventory, researching new products, and provide sales advice at the store to our customers. Some other office management tasks may be required. Previous experience working at retail (especially pet supply) is required. Candidantes are expected to possess strong computer skills, be detail oriented, organized, and self-motivated. This position requires availability all day Friday.
Dog Handler (part time to full time positions)
This position includes all aspects of our business: dog handling, lots of cleaning, customer service, running the register, etc..
Our candidates are:
- Hardworking and energetic. You have to be willing to get your hands dirty of a regular basis!
- Has some experience handling dogs (i.e. vet tech, groomer, trainer's assistant). Veterinary, boarding or daycare experience is a huge plus.
- Organized, punctual and neat. If you alphabetize your mail and iron t-shirts – apply!
- Excellent memory, ability to think on your feet are crutial.
