Testimonial from Kate

I bring my dog to PDP 5 days a week. I can’t express enough how great of a place PDP is. The staff is amazing, they know me well and express every day how much they love my pup. Every morning i say to my dog, “lets go to school,” the second she hears ‘school’ she knows its time to go have some fun and play with her pals. She always runs out of bed and is ecstatic about going to PDP. She has some outside city anxiety, which is really hard to handle at times. The owners and employees at Play Dog Play are so genuine about helping me and my dog with her anxiety. Countless times i have had many conversations about her anxiety. They spend time talking with me and giving me their expert advise as to how i should deal with her anxiety. The whole team is extremely knowledgable about dogs, they are so passionate about the dogs that go to PDP, and they ALWAYS have a smiling face to greet you at the door. I tell everyone about PDP because they are simply, the best! They have a wonderful website that you can watch your dog have a blast at day care using their webcams. They also post great pictures of your dog while playing, and every month there is a pup of the month! I can’t say enough great things about this doggy day care, so go and bring your dog to play there and i bet you will have the same exact feelings as I do!!!

Testimonial from Alison

My dog has been boarded and been to daycare at three different facilities in the area, and in my opinion Play Dog Play is hands-down the best.  We started going there because of the location and we’ve had nothing but good experiences.  My dog has been attending day care once a week for over a year now, and I’ve also used them for boarding when I’ve gone out of town.

The location on Pine Street is super convenient if you work downtown.  Their facility is bright and clean and it’s hard not to smile when you walk in.  The owners and staff are wonderful and are very easy to talk to about any concerns you might have.

The thing that really sets them apart and makes me love this place the most is the staff – they always seem happy to be there and they’re fantastic with the dogs.  I trust them with my girl and I know that she’ll be safe and that she’ll have a great time while she’s there.

Play Dog Play also offers a washing station, training classes, a lobby with food, treats and a selection of dog (and cat) toys and accessories rivaling the pet stores in the area, and they’ve got numerous webcams to keep an eye on your pooch during the day.  They recently expanded their facility to give them even more space, and they’ve begun offering dog-walking and in-home boarding to customers who live nearby.

I’ve got nothing but good things to say about this place and I would recommend them to anyone.

Dogs get a home away from home

From the Burlington Free Press:

Dogs can cut loose at the center and return to their owners calm, Stern said.

“If you come home and the dog has chewed your couch, it’s usually not because he’s very bad, it’s because he’s very bored,” she said.

Stern said she and Norton have handled dogs at other day care centers. Norton plans to work full-time, and Stern plans to work the weekends at Play Dog Play. She also works at MBF Bioscience in Williston.
