Ross Gruber

In 2012, Ross began working with dogs at a local animal hospital where he found that he was interested in exploring the behaviors of and the social interactions between dogs. Ross moved to the Burlington area and joined Play Dog Play as a dog handler in 2013. The daily exposure to dogs in this capacity piqued his interest and he soon after took on a role as a member of the training staff.

Ross is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals and has participated in and completed Tyler Muto’s Dogmanship Through the Feel and Problem Solving WorkshopsHeather Beck’s 3D Workshop: Dealing with Difficult Dogs., and has graduated from Robin McFarlane’s E-collar training course.

Ross is committed to expanding his abilities and repertoire. The same curiosity that led Ross to dog training in the first place also ensures that he is consistently learning new material and incorporating it into his training methods. Ross currently runs classes (Manners & Obedience and K-9 Kindergarten) and offers private lessons as well as Day-Train and Board & Train programs.
